1. I enjoyed learning the new programs kidspiration, camtasia and delicious.

2. I would like to use camtasia to design lessons for students who are absent or needs more instructions.

3. This was great

I learned so much during this workshop! I love delicious.com, and being able to tag websites that I love. This is an easy way to access these sites without have to remember the url. I think that I will definitely use Kidspiration with my 4-6 students. I have used Inspiration in the past, but I think it might be easier to use with my special needs students. I would also love to try using the Camtasia. Thanks for keeping us up to date on new technology that we can use in the classroom!

I learned how to record my voice, create visual teaching aids in Inspiration/Kidspiration, and how to tag sites on delicious.com. I will definitely try Inspiraion/Kidspiration to help with story mapping or summarizing. I liked the student friendly way you can search or choose different templates to create their product. Thanks Betty and Toni for an informative workshop. As always, your patience and knowledge is appreciated!

Betty and Toni,
I learned much more than just one thing today. Camtasia looks like a really good tool for teachers to use in a variety of ways. I can envision math teachers using this with CMP 2.
Delicious.com is wonderful! I already have several sites listed and the Science Spot site that Cyndy and Tina showed me looks really great.
I am already thinking of ways this can be shared with all math teachers at GTMS for use during this school year.
I am wondering if there will be any follow up training for those math and science teachers who could not come to the summer training.
Thank you for a really great presentation.

I learned that there is a pen that is accessible when using Powerpoint by clicking in the left hand lower corner of the slide so I can write on the Power point presentation as it plays. One thing I will use with my students is the diagrams and outlines in Kidspiration. I learned a lot in this training session. I would like to have time on a workshop day or the extra after school monthly hours to spend finding and organizing sites on delicious.com and creating assignments on United Streaming.

Very valuable workshop. I was introduced to two great programs. These included Camtasia and Delicious. I will implement Camtasia with my students. It is suitable for the material I teach and will enable myself to serve those students that have missed important lessons. I am wondering if the new technology teachers will be utilizing these programs.

I really think the information on Camtasia and social bookmarking was very valuable. I will be using both of them very shortly. I think that using the camtasia with the students that have perhaps missed a day will make staying on track simple. Also kidspiration looks like so much FUN. This will help all students that are visual learners understand concepts. Thanks so much.

I learned how to use Camtasia. I think I may try to use this with Powerpoint to create digital study guides or reviews for my students. My only concern is having the time to explore, create, and use all these wonderful tools! Thanks Betty - as usual I'm excited and overwhelmed with all the available resources!

Betty,
Thanks so much for all the information today. I really enjoyed learning about Inspiration/Kidspiration in more detail. I have used Inspiration, but now feel more confident to make my presentations and student activities even better using more details by adding United Streaming, video clips, and internet pictures. I plan on developing projects using this program with my students as well as using this technology to enhance my lessons.
I also really enjoyed learning about delicious.com. This is going to be very helpful in organizing my web searches and help me remember great things I have found only to be lost in cyberspace when I try to find them again. I plan on finding all my tech friends and sharing their web finds :-)
I still have many questions on Camtasia. Hopefully, I will have opportunities throughout the school year to use this program and become more familiar with its use.
Thanks so much, This is really great information. We are lucky to have this chance to learn such "cool" stuff.

1. Better understanding and use of Inspiration; learned about Camtasia
2. I'm going to make at least one Inspiration graphic organizer for each science unit and would like to make at least one recording, of a power point, for each unit with Camtasia
3. Comments: enjoying having time to try things that were discussed and I liked having only a few things to work on, no brain overload
